Job Title: Operations Assistant, Northern Manitoba

Workplace Education Manitoba is seeking an experienced Operations Assistant to provide administrative support to the Director of Operations, Northern Manitoba. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and engaging social media presence for the region, as well as providing support in the coordination of workshops and other programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations, including but not limited to:
  • Receiving and sending electronic mail
  • Arranging and preparing for meetings
  • Recording and preparing minutes of meetings
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining filing systems
  • Monitoring and verifying operational costs

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in administration or administration certification/diploma
  • Proven experience in maintaining social media posts on multiple platforms
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated coordination skills
  • Demonstrated numeracy skills, financial background an asset
