Job SummaryWe are seeking an HR Intern to support our HR department's daily activities and assist in organizing and coordinating our HR policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various administrative tasks, recruitment support, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities- **Recruitment Support**: Assist with job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- **Onboarding**: Help with the preparation and organization of onboarding materials for new hires, and sometimes assist in the orientation process.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Handle general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining employee records.
- **Employee Engagement**: Support activities related to employee engagement and morale, such as organizing events or surveys.
- **HR Policies and Procedures**: Assist in the development or updating of HR policies and procedures, and help ensure they are communicated effectively.
- **Training Support**: Aid in the coordination of training sessions, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
- **Compliance**: Assist with ensuring that the company's HR practices comply with labor laws and regulations.
- **Data Management**: Maintain and update HR databases, track employee information, and generate reports as needed.
- **Employee Relations**: Support the handling of employee inquiries and concerns, and assist in conflict resolution if needed.
- Currently enrolled in a post-grad or undergraduate Human Resources-related course.
- Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar junior HR role or previous internship is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and resume databases, experience with MS Office, good understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
- Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
