About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and friendly Bell Captain to join our dynamic team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a key member of our front desk team, you'll be responsible for assisting guests with luggage during their arrival and departure experience, making necessary deliveries to and pick-ups from guest rooms, and extending guidance and training to bell persons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure
- Make necessary deliveries to and pick-ups from guest rooms
- Extend guidance and training to bell persons
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality
- Accommodate special requests, resolve guest complaints, and assist with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, directions, local sights, and attractions
Requirements:
- Previous hotel experience required
- Knowledge of or experience with hotel computer systems and programs (Opera)
- College/University degree
- Fluent English (written, spoken, and reading)
- Strong crisis management skills
- Strong commitment to service
- Applicants must hold a valid Canadian Work Permit
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Solid communication and leadership skills
- Multi-tasking and organization
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and team player skills

Schedule & Hours:
As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
