About the role

Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full Time, Bell Captain.

Hourly Wage: $22.00 - $24.00

What you will do

The role of the Bell Captain is to assist guests with luggage during their arrival and departure experience; and make necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms. Extend guidance and training to bell persons working closely with other departments in the hotel to ensure a superior guest experience. Make guests feel welcomed, comfortable and well taken care of by handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality; accommodating special requests, resolving guest complaints, and assisting guests in all inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, directions, local sights and attractions, etc.

What you bring

Previous hotel experience required

Knowledge of or experience with hotel computer systems and programs (Opera)

College/University degree

Fluent English (written, spoken and reading)

Strong crisis management skills

Strong commitment to service

Applicants must hold a valid Canadian Work Permit

Ability to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours

Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds

Solid communication and leadership skills

Multi-tasking and organization

Attention to detail

Strong interpersonal and team player skills

Ability to work in Canada

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
