B.C. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. You will also be responsible for maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, as well as preparing other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare cheques for payroll
- Reconcile accounts and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Requirements:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
