**About the Opportunity**

Forbidden Mechanical is growing We are currently looking to fill an **Accounting Clerk **position in the **Comox Valley, BC.**

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
**Admin Support**
- Answer all incoming calls
- Maintain and order all office, coffee supplies and arrange for pickup or delivery
- Maintain a filing system for all equipment, customers and employees
- Record all mobile mechanic time into accounting system
- Book travel for mobile mechanics
- Manage recruitment for various departments, including job postings, screening, onboarding etc.
- Assist with company event planning, including BBQ's, events, career fairs etc.

**Accounts Payable Support**
- Manage AP process, including invoice approvals and entries
- Reconcile AP vendor statements
- Reconcile Visa statements and journalize accordingly
- Ensure cheques are processed as per AP schedules
- Ad hoc AP duties as necessary
- Fuel reconciliation - compile reports and send to managers for approval

**Accounts Receivable Support**
- Manage daily collection process
- Receive customer payments and monitor incoming mail
- Ad hoc AR duties as necessary
- Manage cash on a daily basis

**About You**

To qualify as an Accounting Clerk, you must have **prior experience with Payroll and Accounts Payable.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
