Job Description

The Director of Sales – Parts and Service will oversee the parts and service sales functions for the organization. This individual will play a crucial role in driving NWTC's sales strategy and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the heavy truck industry or automotive repair industry. In addition, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing a high-performance sales team, and overseeing sales development, key performance indicators (KPIs), sales processes, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Sales Strategy
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure sales targets are met. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives for the Parts and Service Departments.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Collaborate with senior leadership to define sales priorities and drive initiatives that enhance revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Maximize Customer Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement sales strategies for the fixed operations departments to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Sales Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Capture Market Trends: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Measure and Report on Sales Performance: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure sales performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Progressive Sales Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience in managing sales functions for a company with multiple locations.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of successful sales development initiatives with growth results. Proficiency in sales processes, KPIs, CRM systems, and data analysis.
Salary

An estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include full health & dental coverage, laptop provided, health spending account, and RRSP matching.
