About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our client's Data Management team at Quantum Technology Recruiting Inc. As an Informatica ETL Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain data infrastructure, collaborating closely with data architects and business analysts to optimize systems for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Build data pipelines to ingest, store, and transform data from various sources, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient data processing.
  • Data Modeling and Architecture: Develop data models and optimize the architecture for efficiency, scalability, and reliability, working closely with data architects and business analysts.
  • Data Quality and Performance: Ensure data quality and troubleshoot performance issues, maintaining high-quality data and optimal system performance.

Deliverables:

  • Accelerated Decision-Making: Deliver data-driven insights to enhance product and engineering strategies, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Scalable Data Models and ETL Pipelines: Create scalable data models and reliable ETL pipelines, leveraging Informatica IICS expertise and best practices.
  • Secure Data Storage: Collaborate with the Security Architect to maintain secure and efficient data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Data Governance: Implement data governance policies for accuracy, security, and compliance, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Documentation and Improvement: Document work and recommend improvements to boost system scalability, efficiency, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Data Warehousing and Cloud Storage: Expertise in data warehouses/lakes and cloud-based storage (AWS S3), with a strong understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL, Python (preferred), Snowflake, and API integration, with proficiency in data modeling and architecture.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, and experience managing multiple projects.
  • Experience and Education: Minimum five years of experience building data pipelines and warehouses, with a strong understanding of agile development methodologies and best practices for data processing.
