We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Supervisor Lead to join our team at Rainforces Ltd. in this permanent position with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Leadership and Supervision:
    • SUPERVISE WORKERS AND PROJECTS: Direct and coordinate the activities of construction workers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
    • RECRUIT AND HIRE WORKERS: Source, interview, and hire qualified individuals to fill project-specific positions.
    • TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT:
      • Provide guidance and training to new employees, focusing on safe work practices and site procedures.
      • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for apprentices and experienced workers.
  • Production Management:
    • COORDINATE AND SCHEDULE ACTIVITIES: Organize tasks, allocate resources, and establish timelines to ensure projects meet deadlines.
    • PREPARE REPORTS: Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and create reports to inform decision-making.
    • ESTIMATE COSTS AND MATERIALS:
      • CALCULATE QUOTES: Determine material requirements, labor costs, and other expenses to provide accurate quotes for clients.
  • Health and Safety:
    • ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS: Monitor and enforce adherence to health and safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
    • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
