Job Title: Construction Site Foreman/Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Foreman/Supervisor to join our team at Heritage Restoration INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including apprentices, labourers, and skilled tradespeople
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and implement measures to mitigate risks
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities, including site preparation, construction, and finishing work
  • Supervise the preparation and laying of bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Manage and maintain records, including site diaries, timesheets, and reports
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other interested parties


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to work under pressure, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle (for business use)
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
