Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Team Lead to join our team at Jardeg-Construction. As a key member of our Buildings Division, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from start to finish.

About the Role:
  • You will oversee all aspects of project delivery, including site logistics, project scheduling, and quality control.
  • You will manage a team of field personnel, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • You will coordinate with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Responsibilities:
  • Participate in preconstruction services, developing site logistics, project schedules, and phasing plans.
  • Be responsible for site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, project scheduling, field cost control, and safety.
  • Determine methods of construction, materials quantities, equipment, work schedules, and documentation of hours worked.
  • Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Monitor compliance with company and site safety programs and documents, ensuring corrective measures are implemented.
  • Take an active role in hiring, training, and monitoring field personnel.
  • Assist with preparation and facilitation of project meetings.
  • Assist project managers with resolution of outstanding claim items and warranty.
Requirements:
  • Varying years of experience will be considered: 4-10 years of construction experience and a minimum of 2-6 years in a supervisor capacity role.
  • Proficiency in structural concrete, steel, and timber frame construction.
  • Proven ability to manage project values $1M - 25M.
  • Proven ability to lead mid-sized teams.
  • Knowledge of construction engineering and design.
  • Knowledge of standard construction software and management processes.
Salary Range:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year
