Job Summary

Rainforces Ltd. is seeking a skilled and organized Construction Site Supervisor to lead our team of workers on various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising construction sites, preparing reports, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week, requiring a reliable individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities, scheduling, overseeing apprenticeship training, and recruiting new staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Supervision: Ensure that all construction site activities are carried out efficiently and safely, following Rainforces Ltd.'s policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare accurate production and other reports as required, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Training and Development: Oversee the training of apprentices and new staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of workers, ensuring that they are adequately trained and equipped to carry out their duties effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
