At BrightPath Kids Canada, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to fill the role of Assistant Director in our childcare centre. This position offers a unique opportunity to build a career in early childhood education and become a valued member of our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Centre Director in managing the overall operation of the centre, including staff recruitment and development, policy management, child safety, environmental health, and provincial licensing.
  • Ensure that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general communications.
  • Implement and enforce all provincial regulations within the centre.
  • Provide effective communication with families about their child.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with a membership in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of licensing and regulations.
  • Meet province requirements for childcare employment.
  • Up-to-date immunization and Health Assessment as per the local Ministry of Health Requirements.
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate.
