About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Childcare Educator Assistant to join our team at the SimplySmart Child Care Centre.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, ensuring their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist educators in planning and implementing programs, preparing materials, and engaging children in activities.
  • Support staff in maintaining accurate records, submitting written observations, and attending meetings to discuss child progress and problems.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, community service providers, and families.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a childcare setting, preferably in an assistant role.
  • A valid First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification.
  • A Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Immunization records.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on experience.
