You will also be responsible for providing training and orientation to new employees, managing scheduling and attendance, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the site layout.
Key Responsibilities:- Enforce Security Standards: Ensure that all security protocols are followed and that the site is secure at all times.
- Attend Training and Meetings: Participate in regular training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest security procedures and protocols.
- Document Incidents: Accurately document all incidents, including accidents and security breaches, and report them to management with suggested solutions.
- Guide Guards: Provide guidance and support to security guards in handling challenging situations, ensuring that they respond professionally and efficiently.
- Provide Training and Orientation: Train and orient new employees on security procedures, protocols, and site-specific requirements.
- Manage Scheduling and Attendance: Effectively manage scheduling and attendance to ensure that the site is adequately staffed at all times.
- Maintain Site Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the site layout, including all security features and protocols.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with Fire and Life Safety requirements, First Aid and safety equipment checks, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Culture and Communication: Foster a collaborative culture through constructive feedback and coaching, and engage regularly with employees to understand their needs and challenges.
- Customer Service: Promote exceptional customer service and high-quality performance, ensuring that all interactions with clients and employees are professional and courteous.
- Security Experience: 1-2 years of security experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
- Security License and Certification: Valid Security License and First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Training and Education: Completion of basic security training (e.g., Conflict Management, Use of Force) is an asset, and leadership training is a plus.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong customer service skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, knowledge of security system databases, and strong problem-solving skills.
