Job Title: Director, Marketing Strategy and Operations

The Director, Marketing Strategy and Operations will be a critical leader and team-member for Canada Marketing, responsible for driving the planning process for Marketing. This role will work closely with the CMO and the Canada Marketing leadership team to develop the Marketing Plan for Canada, ensuring alignment across Canada and with the Global marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Marketing Plan for Canada, aligning with Global Marketing and Canada business objectives.
  • Lead the process to drive alignment across Canada businesses and functions, ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the execution of the marketing plan, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights for improvement.
  • Manage the Book of Work for Marketing, prioritizing and tracking progress against delivery, in partnership with the CMO and leadership team.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a focus on strategy and operations.
  • Experience in formulating strategy, with a strong understanding of key principles of strategy development.
  • Strong investigative and critical thinking skills, with the ability to perform critical analysis with limited oversight.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with a variety of stakeholders, using sound, independent judgment, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to interact / influence outside functional boundaries to achieve common goals.
