Drive your career forward with Agilent Technologies as a Senior Mass Spectrometry Business Development Specialist. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for expanding our presence in the Life Sciences and Applied Markets accounts by promoting Liquid/Gas Chromatography (HPLC and GC), Mass Spectrometry, and UV-Vis equipment, as well as Informatics solutions.

This challenging position requires a strong strategic thinker who can work independently and collaboratively with Product Specialists, Application Engineers, and Inside Sales Representatives to meet and exceed sales targets in the specified geography. You will develop successful strategies and tactics to grow our market share in a competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans to drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle for Agilent HPLC, GC, Molecular, and MS equipment, and Informatics solutions
  • Foster and maintain key customer relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
  • Promptly follow up on leads and ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries
  • Negotiate complex sales transactions to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
  • Create engaging presentations that educate and inform customers about Agilent's offerings, increasing awareness and interest
  • Manage multiple demands and priorities to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction while exceeding sales goals
  • Provide valuable market and product feedback to management to inform future business decisions
  • Utilize CRM tools and other resources effectively to drive business growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, BioChemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in strategic sales roles within the Life Sciences industry
  • Strong understanding of chromatography applications and workflows, with practical and theoretical knowledge
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage customers and stakeholders

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $138,000 - $230,000 CAD per annum, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits
  • Full-time weekly schedule with the option to work remotely
  • Sales incentive eligible with opportunities for professional growth and development
