About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Body Repairer, Motor Vehicles Specialist to join our team at Saunders Motors Co. Ltd. as a key member of our automotive repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Workspace: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by cleaning and maintaining the workspace, adhering to company standards.
  • Instruct Apprentices: Provide guidance and training to apprentices, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Repair and Replace Body Components: Utilize expertise to repair or replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Prepare Surfaces for Painting: Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, adhering to company standards for quality and efficiency.
  • Hammer Out Dents and Defects: Use blocks and hammers to remove dents, buckles, and defects from body surfaces, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
  • Install Replacement Parts: Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, ensuring a seamless fit and finish.
  • Repair or Replace Interior Components: Restore interior components to their original condition, demonstrating expertise in upholstery, trim, and other interior repair techniques.
  • Repair or Replace Windows and Windshields: Safely remove and replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, adhering to company standards for quality and safety.
  • Mix and Apply Paint: Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a flawless finish, demonstrating attention to detail and color matching skills.
  • Operate Soldering Equipment: Safely operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, adhering to company standards for quality and safety.
  • Straighten Bent Frames: Utilize frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment to straighten bent frames, demonstrating expertise in frame repair and restoration.
