About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Market Analyst to join our Edmonton research team at CB Canada. As a Market Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful collection and dissemination of project information, as well as entering collected data into our proprietary database.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and collect data from various sources, including industry websites, news media, phone calls, and industry networking.
  • Conduct site visits to gain direct knowledge of properties and collect relevant information, including photographs that meet database standards.
  • Enter large amounts of data into the database in an accurate and timely manner to ensure that our real estate data is well maintained and up to date.
  • Stay up-to-date with commercial real estate activity, including sales and listings, by attending industry events and meetings, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks and contacts, and benchmarking best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, stakeholders, planners, and developers to gain data cooperation and collection support.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Real Estate, Geography, Urban Planning, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1+ years in commercial real estate, with familiarity with collecting data and information about commercial properties.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with finely tuned skills in data collection, data interpretation, and compiling information.
  • Interpersonal skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to leverage insights, clarify ambiguities, and present complex information in a structured and accessible way.
