About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Analyst to join our Edmonton research team at CB Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting and disseminating project information, entering data into our proprietary database, and liaising with industry professionals to achieve objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research and collect data on commercial real estate projects, utilizing various methods such as email, industry websites, news media, phone calls, and industry networking.
  • Conduct site visits to gain direct knowledge of properties, collecting relevant information and taking photographs that meet database standards.
  • Enter large amounts of data into our database in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring our real estate data remains well-maintained and up-to-date.
  • Stay up-to-date on commercial real estate trends, attending industry events, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and benchmarking best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, stakeholders, planners, and developers to gain data cooperation and collection support.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or diploma in Real Estate, Geography, Urban Planning, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1+ years in commercial real estate, with familiarity with collecting data and information about commercial properties.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with finely tuned skills in data collection, data interpretation, and compiling information.
  • Interpersonal skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a structured and accessible way.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside of business hours on occasion, with a valid driver's license.
