Market Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Analyst to join our Edmonton research team at CB Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting and disseminating project information, entering data into our proprietary database, and liaising with industry professionals to achieve objectives.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct thorough research and collect data from various sources, including industry websites, news media, and industry networking.
  • Plan and conduct site visits to gain direct knowledge of properties and collect relevant information.
  • Enter data into our database in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that our real estate data is well maintained and up-to-date.
  • Stay up-to-date with commercial real estate trends, including sales and listings, by attending industry events, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional networks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, stakeholders, planners, and developers to gain data cooperation and collection support.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in Real Estate, Geography, Urban Planning, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1+ years in commercial real estate, with familiarity with collecting data and information about commercial properties.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with finely tuned skills in data collection, data interpretation, and compiling information.
  • Interpersonal skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a structured and accessible way.
