About This Role

As a Client Executive, Commercial Insurance, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team at Acera Insurance Services Ltd., a leading provider of insurance and risk management solutions in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect new clients through various sales activities, including cold calling, networking events, and social media.
  • Negotiate contracts with insurers on behalf of clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage claims with clients and insurers, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Represent Acera Insurance at trade shows, promoting the company's services and expertise.
  • Oversee the collection and management of all accounts receivable related to clients.
  • Lead and support assigned associate staff to deliver exceptional client service and meet insurer needs.
  • Develop presentation and marketing materials as required to showcase Acera Insurance's value proposition.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products.
  • RIBO License is required; CIP or CAIB designation is considered an asset.
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Sales and growth focus, with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with insurance document management software.
  • Demonstrated accountability, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
