HUB International is a leading insurance brokerage in Canada, offering a full spectrum of insurance and related services. We are seeking a Bilingual Insurance Broker to join our team in the HUB Customer Central (HCC) office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing client needs, advising clients on recommendations, and executing on all important details. They will also create an effortless experience for our customers, demonstrating strong decision-making and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in French and English, with a university degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Previous success in customer service or a strong desire to help customers is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client needs and advise clients on recommendations
  • Create an effortless experience for our customers
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making and analytical skills
  • Underwrite and process requested changes
  • Develop understanding of the insurers' underwriting guidelines
  • Use sound underwriting judgment when reviewing and modifying policies

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in French and English
  • University degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • Previous success in customer service or a strong desire to help customers
  • Ability to multitask on a phone and computer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Desire to work in a dynamic team environment
