Job Description: Client Advisor, Commercial Insurance - New Business
As part of our team, you will focus on responding to inbound quote requests from our online application process. You will underwrite, quote, and issue new business documentation for clients. The Client Advisor, Commercial Insurance, New Business will develop relationships with potential clients by assessing their insurance needs, providing coverage recommendations from top insurers, and completing risk assessments.
Once the risk is bound and issued, the new client will be assigned to a servicing broker for future handling. We will train you on our specialized programs, and you will become an expert, armed with the knowledge to educate and guide clients to ensure satisfaction and fulfillment of their insurance needs.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (depending on experience)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Full-time, permanent position
- RIBO License required
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry
- Experience with Commercial Insurance is an asset
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office, fast and accurate typing skills
- CAIB or CIP designation is an asset
