Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dining Establishment Operations Director to join our team at Log Cabin Pub. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Work closely with our culinary team to modify food preparation methods and menu prices, ensuring they meet our customers' expectations.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including setting staff work schedules and supervising staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring we get the best deals while maintaining quality.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, promoting our services and building strong relationships.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage events and functions, ensuring they run smoothly and exceed our customers' expectations.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
