Maintenance Supervisor

**Role Summary**
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the daily maintenance of villa suites and homes. Based out of The Gables in Stanley Bridge, this role will schedule the team, track, repair and maintain properties, respond to customer requests, and oversee the team to ensure quality standards.

**What You’ll Do**
- Weekly maintenance team schedule.
- Weekly Inventory tracking and monitoring of maintenance and hot tub supplies.
- Create invoices and track repairs and maintenance as completed.
- Mowing and maintaining duplex, suites, and vacation home properties.
- Complete of pre-arrival unit checklist.
- Daily maintenance of units and shared common areas (e.g., BBQ, decks, hot tubs, garbage) post-departure.
- Operation of Utility Equipment (e.g., gator, mowers).
- General preventative maintenance, property upkeep, troubleshooting and basic repairs (e.g., toilets, smoke detectors, sinks/tubs, heating, screen door).
- Address and respond to guest service needs, including guest calls in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
- Respond to any maintenance inquiries as directed by management.
- Bring required replacement parts or supplies to the attention of management.
- Responsible for the storage, safekeeping handling of all tools, equipment and related parts and supplies.
- Assist landscaping with general duties.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Establish and maintain good team relations and interdepartmental relations, by assisting members of the team to ensure the needs of our guests are met.
- Adhere and support all safety requirements and quality standards set forth in the PEI Occupational Health and Safety General Regulations, PEI Occupational Health and Safety Act and Island Coastal’s Safety Management System.
- Use your experience to identify health and safety deficiencies, aid in developing solutions, and enforce safe working practices.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**What You Bring**
- 1+ years maintenance supervisor or related experience considered an asset.
- Experience with basic tools and property maintenance/ repairs required.
- Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, self-motivated, and honest with a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time in various weather conditions.
- Available days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Successfully lift up to 50lbs.
- Valid drivers license and own transportation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
