About the Role:

AGF Investments is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the execution of its ambitious product development and management strategy. As Vice President, Product Strategy, you will be responsible for driving the further expansion of AGF's private and liquid alternatives solutions, as well as the continued evolution of its global equity and fixed income offerings.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present business cases for new investment products, including competitor analysis, market intelligence, and sizing.
  • Collaborate with Product Operations and Governance to manage the execution of launches from business acceptance through to delivery.
  • Oversee strategic product restructuring initiatives and serve as the senior member of the team, including management of junior/mid-level team members.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams across the business and participate in various industry body working groups.

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in investment product development and/or global product structuring, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in structuring alternative investment solutions.
  • Knowledge of Canadian, U.S., and Europe-domiciled investment product-related vehicles, including a working knowledge of investment strategies and styles employed by fixed income, equity, and alternative portfolio managers.
