We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist II to join our Primary Care team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will work collaboratively with interprofessional teams to develop and implement plans of care for patients in our Primary Care department.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in our Primary Care department, including individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
- Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and community partners to promote person-centered care
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and current research evidence to inform professional practice decisions
- Graduate of a recognized Occupational Therapy program
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
