We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join our team in Toronto, working on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support new projects, including FFIP and PPD, from a reliability standpoint, and develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs.
  2. Implement reliability and industry methodologies to identify and minimize facility and equipment risks associated with platform operations.
  3. Apply reliability principles to reduce downtime and eliminate failures.
  4. Collaborate with ETS APUs, Lead Investigators, and Production Compliance Managers to investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
  5. Utilize RCM tools, including Root Cause Analysis, Reliability modeling, FMEA's, and Statistical Process control monitoring.
  6. Monitor key performance indicators, engineering approaches, and CMMS data to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  7. Work with Project Engineering to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations.
  8. Develop and manage Predictive Maintenance programs to incorporate cost-effective predictive and non-destructive technologies.
  9. Manage Obsolescence through risk analysis reports and identify functional equivalent parts for the MRO team.
  10. Support Site and/or Building Risk Registry through bi-annual long-term asset plan analysis and obsolescence reports.
  11. Conduct building shutdowns through proactive review of PM task lists and associated parts.
  12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain good documentation practices.
  13. Educate and train the department on the value of building accurate equipment histories for trending purposes and reliability improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  2. 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering environments, including experience working with maintenance personnel in the pharmaceutical industry.
  3. In-depth understanding and experience in Industry Lean / Six Sigma / TPM methodology.
  4. Strong understanding of all trades, current maintenance best practices, reliability tools and processes, GMP/GLP, and common maintenance issues.
  5. Professional Engineer of Ontario (P. Eng) is an asset.
  6. Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is an asset.
