About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at 14985664 Canada Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and steel
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Train and supervise apprentices
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Work Environment

Our Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a dusty and outdoors environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
