About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Canada Construction Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and steel
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Instruct and train apprentices in the art of carpentry
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. As a Carpentery Specialist, you will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and handle heavy loads.
