About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Vision Vanities & Bath Decor. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of craftsmanship in our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with our project managers to plan and coordinate carpentry projects from start to finish.
  • Carpentry Work: Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Site Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of other carpenters and construction workers on site.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all carpentry work meets our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Estimation and Scheduling: Estimate costs and materials required for projects and schedule work to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Level of Expertise: Maintenance and repair, with a focus on carpentry and woodworking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
