About the Role

The Government of Canada - Central seeks an Executive Director of Sales Operations to lead its sales efforts. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual to oversee the allocation of resources, establish departmental objectives, and represent the organization in official functions.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Lead the sales team to achieve organizational goals by allocating resources, establishing objectives, and formulating policies.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions to support sales operations.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure seamless sales operations.
  • Policy Formulation: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning to drive sales growth.
  • Representation: Represent the organization in negotiations or other official functions, delegating representatives as needed.
  • Talent Management: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegating necessary authority and creating optimum working conditions.

  • Organization: Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Teamwork: A team player with excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What We Offer

The Government of Canada - Central offers a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $110,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
