ROLE
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our company's IT infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and networks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for our company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and desktops.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems and services.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the use of IT systems and applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to ensure our company remains competitive.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure deployment.
  • Valid driver's license.

Experience:
  • Experience administering systems support for remote sites.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure fundamentals, including storage, server, networking, virtualization, cloud, and cyber security.
  • Experience with Dell/Cisco Meraki network hardware, Microsoft Active Directory, VMWare, Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, PowerShell, SharePoint, and Microsoft server environments.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Intermediate technical knowledge of major operating systems and experience with Microsoft networking and operating environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of configuring and maintaining network infrastructure solutions.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell to create scripts that drive efficiencies in the IT team.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is office-based and works at our Calgary corporate office. Travel to project sites is required.
