As the Dean of Indigenous Relations and Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our institution's commitment to reconciliation and Indigenous education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for improving Indigenous student success and Indigenous faculty recruitment and retention.
- Collaborate with Indigenous community partners to develop and implement Indigenous education programs and services.
- Provide leadership in the development and implementation of Indigenous cultural safety and reconciliation initiatives.
- Work closely with the Provost and Vice-President Academic to develop and implement Indigenous education policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- PhD in Indigenous Studies or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership in Indigenous education and community engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to Indigenous reconciliation and community engagement.
