Dean, College of Dentistry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Indigenous Relations and Community Engagement efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance Indigenous relations and community engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, organizations, and stakeholders
- Provide cultural awareness training and education to University staff and students
- Collaborate with University departments and faculties to develop and implement Indigenous-focused initiatives
- Monitor and report on Indigenous relations and community engagement metrics
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Indigenous studies, education, community development)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Indigenous relations and community engagement
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and experiences
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
