Supervisor - Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) - Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Device Reprocessing Supervisor to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Medical Device Reprocessing Department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Medical Device Reprocessing Department
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Three (3) years' experience in Medical Device Reprocessing Department
- Management/supervisory experience required
- Completion of Grade 12 education required
- Bachelor of Science degree or post-secondary education in a healthcare related field required
- Demonstrated leadership and teaching skills
- Supplementary courses in leadership, communication, quality assurance preferred
- Knowledge of computer systems and current and related software applications
