**Job Summary**

St. Boniface Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Device Reprocessing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining processes related to Medical Device Reprocessing.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage the physical, financial, and human resources involved in maintaining the integrity of the medical device reprocessing functions within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with the WRHA Regional Medical Device Reprocessing Program to ensure compliance with hospital management values and operational standards.
  • Participate in hospital-wide and regional committees, and professional associations to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

**Requirements**

  • Three (3) years' experience in Medical Device Reprocessing Department.
  • Management/supervisory experience required.
  • Completion of Grade 12 education required.
  • Bachelor of Science degree or post-secondary education in a healthcare-related field required.
  • Successful completion of the Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Certificate Program from a recognized MDR course within fifteen (15) months from acceptance of position.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience, as deemed recognized by the Hospital, may be considered.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Demonstrated leadership and teaching skills.
  • Supplementary courses in leadership, communication, quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and current software applications.
  • Critical thinking application essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with various levels of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to handle highly stressed situations.
