Tidal Commerce Inc. is a rapidly expanding tech consulting agency specializing in digital transformation and e-commerce solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead our client service teams, dedicated to designing and delivering top-notch e-commerce strategies and solutions. This role involves strategic oversight, team leadership, and successful execution to meet our clients' requirements.

As a key leader of our consulting service line, you will directly report to the practice leader, an ex-McKinsey consultant, ensuring that our client engagements are executed with the same rigor and precision that defines a leading consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of high-impact e-commerce strategies and solutions that align with client business goals and drive digital transformation.
  • Collaborate with clients to define and implement long-term digital roadmaps, ensuring their business strategies are supported by scalable and future-proof technology solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies into project delivery to ensure clients remain competitive in their markets.
  • Translate client objectives into actionable project plans that maximize ROI and business outcomes, ensuring that each project contributes meaningfully to the client's long-term success.
  • Oversee and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration between business analysts, technical experts, and stakeholders to achieve seamless project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client executives and internal stakeholders, facilitating strategic discussions to ensure alignment on project vision and goals.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, proposing strategic actions to mitigate challenges and capitalize on potential business growth areas.
  • Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies to continuously monitor project performance, optimizing processes for improved efficiency and outcomes.
  • Ensure the development of scalable and sustainable e-commerce solutions that can evolve with the client's business needs and technological advancements.
  • Deliver clear, insightful, and actionable reports to senior client leadership, providing strategic recommendations based on project data and analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Solid academic foundation in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Consulting Background: Previous experience with a Big 4, MBB, or similar technology consulting firm is highly preferred.
  • Relevant Technology Experience: Proven track record as an Engagement Manager in technology-driven projects (such as ERP, digital technologies, low-code platforms, and more). Experience with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms is highly preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding and advanced knowledge of at least one core technology or industry sector.
  • Distributed Team Leadership: Experience managing projects with distributed or remote teams, ensuring seamless coordination across geographies.
  • SDLC and Implementation Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and practical experience with various implementation methodologies.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both client-facing and internal teams.
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrated ability to manage both tasks and teams, driving performance and achieving project goals.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Project Management Certification: PMP or other recognized Project Management certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per year
