Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR) in Durham Region.
About the Role:As an Occupational Therapist with CAR, you will have the opportunity to work with adults in their homes and communities, providing ministry-funded occupational therapy services. You will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education and support to clients and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions in the client's home or community setting
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet clients' needs and goals
- Provide education and support to clients and their caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and care plans
- Registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Experience working in a community setting, preferably with adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records
