Lead the Future of The National Ballet of Canada

As the next Executive Director, you will partner with Artistic Director Hope Muir to advance the Company's vision and future plans. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the organization's artistic, financial, and reputational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Ensure the Company's sound financial position through effective fiscal management and contract union negotiations
  • Lead the executive leadership team in marketing, audience engagement, donor stewardship, EDI initiatives, education, and community outreach programs
  • Strengthen the Company's organizational culture and employee engagement

Requirements:

  • Relevant executive leadership experience, ideally in a co-leadership model, in the performing arts or a combination of private sector executive leadership experience and extensive contributions to the performing arts as a volunteer
