Job Title: Executive Director of Arts and Culture

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director of Arts and Culture to lead our team at The National Ballet of Canada.

Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Arts and Culture will be responsible for overseeing the artistic and cultural direction of our organization, ensuring that our programs and initiatives align with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for artistic and cultural programming
  • Lead a team of professionals in the development and execution of artistic and cultural initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build partnerships and secure funding for artistic and cultural projects
  • Ensure the artistic and cultural integrity of our programs and initiatives
  • Represent the organization at cultural and artistic events
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in the arts and culture sector
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful artistic and cultural programs
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members
  • Strong understanding of the arts and culture sector and its trends and challenges
