Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations, ensuring that our hotel meets the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their performance goals and providing feedback to improve their performance.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies, and with clients for the use of our facilities.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure that our hotel is financially sustainable.
  • Marketing: Develop and implement marketing plans to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
  • Maintenance: Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities to ensure that our hotel is well-maintained and safe for our guests.
  • Policies and Procedures: Enforce policies and procedures to ensure that our hotel operates in accordance with our values and standards.
  • Guest Support: Assist guests with special needs, providing support and guidance to ensure that they have a positive experience at our hotel.
  • Work Schedules: Establish work schedules to ensure that our staff are able to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Support for Diversity and Inclusion: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities, newcomers and/or refugees, youth, Veterans, Indigenous people, mature workers, and visible minorities.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
