Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Manager to join our team at Ma-Ro Catering. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing budgets, developing cost-effective strategies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our catering business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
  • Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
  • Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff schedules and event management
  • Recruit and train staff to meet business needs
  • Negotiate with suppliers and clients to ensure the best possible deals
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Or equivalent experience
