About the Role

GearCo Industrial Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying Out and Assembling: Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly of metal structures.
  • Fabrication and Assembly: Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques as required.
  • Operating Heavy-Duty Equipment: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as CNC machines, to fabricate metal components.
  • Constructing Patterns and Templates: Construct patterns and templates to ensure accurate fabrication of metal components.
  • Installing Fabricated Components: Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Moving Materials: Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
