Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at GearCo Industrial Services Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying out reference points and patterns, assembling and fitting plates and sections, and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques as required
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as CNC machines
  • Construct patterns and templates to aid in the fabrication process
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring quality and accuracy
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, using appropriate equipment and techniques
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Proficiency in using computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
