About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at GearCo Industrial Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, utilizing strong problem-solving skills
  • Weld or bolt sections together, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as CNC machines, to produce high-quality components
  • Construct patterns and templates to facilitate efficient fabrication processes
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precise fit and finish
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, demonstrating physical stamina and coordination
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Proficiency in using computer numerical control (CNC) machines
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Fluency in English
