Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at GearCo Industrial Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying out reference points and patterns, assembling and fitting plates and sections to form structures, and welding or bolting sections together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques as required
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to fabricate components
  • Construct patterns and templates to guide fabrication processes
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precise fit and finish
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, using appropriate equipment and techniques
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Equipment and Machinery Experience
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate complex components
