Tahini's Richmond Hill is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and ensuring that all menu items meet the company's culinary standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our unique blend of flavors and cuisines
  • Maintain inventory and manage kitchen supplies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles
  • Work closely with our purchasing team to source the freshest and highest-quality ingredients
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a cook or in a related role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with excellent time management and organizational skills
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous paid time off policy.
