Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie-MOH to join our culinary team at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for producing high-quality menu items, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of menu items, adhering to recipes and standards.
  • Oversee kitchen functions to ensure efficient and safe food production.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety Codes, and Food Safety.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering of food and supplies.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer feedback.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as culinary arts or hospitality.
  • Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience, with 1 year in a casino environment preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and shift work.
  • Safe food handling certification and knowledge of HACCP.
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, and odors. The position requires standing and walking for long periods, with some lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
